Testing, Testing...

AHHH! What happened here?


Did that thought just cross your mind? Or was it more along the lines of, Oooh, this finally looks like a blog in the year 2011, not 2001?

Blogger just launched its new dynamic views, which, ahem, is what's happening here, right now. One great thing I personally enjoy about this—something I've been loving about Tumblr—is the "infinite scrolling" aspect. No more "Older Posts" links. No more clunky navigation. Just...scroll. What worries me, though, is that users won't link through to read full posts with this setup. (Read more about the Dynamic Views here.)

But, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...I am not giving my faithful readers enough credit. What do you think?

I just applied to be the head blogger for Alicia Keys' new website.

In case you were ever wondering, what's Alison's dream job? Well, this is it. Exactly.

Holy crap. Dear Alicia Keys, please hire me for this job, and change my life forever. Who cares that I've never been to NYC? Whatevs. For this job, I'd live on the North Pole.

And you know what? I would kick some serious ass as her head blogger. I know it. And no, not just because Alicia is my dream woman.

Maybe she'll hire me. Probably, she won't. Either way, I'm still dreaming the big dream. I'm a super woman.

Hooray, Blogger!

Today I discovered an exciting update to Blogger that I've implemented on my most recent posts: the "Read More" link. Hoorah! Before when I tried to add the necessary HTML code to make this happen, my entire blog exploded. Now Blogger made it easy for me. Thank you, thank you.

Now, my longer rants won't take up an entire page. I hope this makes the rainbow chronicles more enjoyable for you all, my devoted fans! (Please know that I'm cracking up to myself in front of my Macbook at the thought that I have devoted fans.)

But please, please, do me a favor. Read more. I promise you, it'll be entertaining. Well, maybe. It's worth a shot.
